Dee Hastings

Dee Hastings held the position of Director of Marketing for Morler International from 1984 until 1988. The renowned Dr. Edward Morler, who specializes in communication, presentation and negotiation skills training and is one of the world's leading authorities in his field. During Dee's tenure her responsibilities included regular participation in his Negotiation and Presentation skills training classes, in course curriculum development, and in various other marketing and workshop development programs.

Telecom Management Solutions (TMSolutions, Inc.) was established in August of 2001 with the primary focus of maximizing the expertise and knowledge obtained in the “Field of Sales” acquired over the last 20 years for the benefit of their clients. Dee’s goal is to assist her clients in providing their salespeople with the most effective, informative, and results-oriented sales training available.

In 1988, the Telecommunications industry captured her interest and she began a career in the field of Telecom Technology sales. She has proven her abilities by using her extensive background in Telephony Hardware sales to develop a course for Telecom Technology sales representatives. This course is designed to methodically train a sales person, enhance their skill sets required during each phase of the sales process, and consequently provide them with a proven, practical process of selling that produces immediate results.

Throughout her career, Dee has performed in various sales capacities: Senior Sales Executive, Sales Manager—telephone hardware and related software; direct sales; Regional Sales Manager, Interconnect Channel Management—telecom equipment sales and distribution; Channel Manager—High Speed Internet Access equipment, distribution channel development and sales support. She has also enjoyed being involved in the design, sale, and implementation of hundreds of voice systems and call center solutions. This experience afforded her the opportunity to work with over one hundred different Interconnects and Telcos, various voice systems, and peripheral products—including: Mitel, Executone, Hitachi, Telrad, AT & T, Northern Telecom, and their solution partners.

Being the recipient of numerous Sales Achievement Awards and Outstanding Performance Recognition during employment with Executone Information Systems, Dee has shown she is well prepared to show others how to succeed. Her awards include Senior Sales Representative of the year, Western Region 1989-90 with attainment of 255% of quota and Circle of Excellence awards from 1989-1993. During tenure at Hawaiian Communications, her personal sales increased their Telrad product sales by over 500%. She was the Mitel President’s Club award recipient for the fiscal years 1998-99.
